Brand Acquisitions

Infinity Lifestyle Brands was founded with a principal purpose of acquiring and investing in consumer brands. We seek labels that possess significant market identity, application across a wide product universe, and “evergreen” consumer relevance. Infinity Lifestyle Brands usually considers acquiring either majority or “foothold” equity interests in both publicly as well as privately-held branded businesses. Historically, Infinity and its strategic partners have capitalized all brand acquisitions solely with equity capital. This uncommon approach is a defining element of our long term strategy.

Infinity Lifestyle typically makes controlling interest investments in brands or intellectual property assets, leading such acquisitions independently or with one or more joint-venture partners. Previous partners include leading corporate and asset liquidators, industry suppliers, and retailers. Its equity investments typically range between $25 million and $50 million but may be as large as $100 million.

A key component of our strategy is to pair every acquisition with a best-in-class brand management team and a pool of category-leading licensing partners. Before any investment is made, a strong, well capitalized partnership group is assembled. With this ownership group we immediately begin the critical task of identifying managers for the turnaround, both from the ranks of the target enterprise’s existing team and from outside industry leaders. The selected management team will take an active role in due diligence and deal structuring to best suit the venture’s go-forward plans.

Infinity Lifestyle Brands pursues opportunities that possess one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Under-utilized brands from companies experiencing challenging operating performance but possessing market-leading brand recognition within their sector.
  • Neglected or “orphan” brands from healthy companies that own a brand that does not fit their business objectives.
  • Dormant brands from companies that own an established brand but have since discontinued all marketing and distribution efforts to support the brand.

Sourcing & Procurement

Infinity Lifestyle sources a diverse mix of consumer products from a network of over fifty factories, across Asia and the Middle East. It also provides rapid replenishment services, through its U.S. based factories, to specialty product businesses. Most imported merchandise is delivered through the Company’s distribution centers located in California, Texas, and New Jersey.

Infinity Lifestyle’s sourcing, procurement, and quality control operations are anchored by five overseas offices located in Hong Kong, Mainland China, the Philippines, and Pakistan. These overseas offices manage our international supply-chain, and provide a menu of logistical services to our domestic affiliates, third party wholesalers, and retailers.

Private Label / Retail Branding

By successfully positioning both acquired third-party brand properties and proprietary labels, created and developed by our affiliate companies, Infinity Lifestyle Brands has established a track record of developing and positioning brands into successful retailer-exclusive labels.

Infinity Lifestyle has the skills and experience to add value for both retailers and consumers, by creating or redeploying brands for the world’s leading retailers. The firm has successfully created and launched new private label programs for, and forged synergistic licensing deals with, powerful retail chains. Some of our successes include the exclusive placement of Starter Athletic and Shaq Apparel at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and the redeployment of the Fieldcrest brand at Target Stores.
